What is Twin Owls Woodcraft?Twin Owls Woodcraft is a small woodworking business based in Canton, OH specializing in handcrafted furniture and decor.
Do you take custom orders?Not at this time. My hope is that I will be able to begin accepting them in the future. Stay tuned for that announcement.
What do you mean by "hand tools only"I only use non-power tools in my crafting. No power drills, table saws, miter saws, or jigsaws. Every piece is crafted traditionally using traditional tools.
How do I order?Go to the shop tab, browse the listings and find something you like. Click on “See details” and it will take you to the detailed version of what you selected. Click the button on the bottom and it will take you to an order form. Fill it out and submit it.
You will get an email from me saying that I received the order and an invoice will be attached. Please be aware that the first invoice you get will be for the deposit amount. This must be paid and accepted before I begin making your order.
When the piece is done, I will let you know and will send the final invoice. Once that is paid and accepted we will set up delivery (or pickup)and get it to you.
Do you deliver?Yes! As of now, I only deliver within Ohio. If you are 20 miles or less from Canton, OH then delivery is free. If you are outside of that, a small fee to cover my gas will be charged. You are always welcome to pickup your order for free.
Why do the prices seem high? Are there discounts?Prices are a bit higher than mass produced products or large corporate stores. The cost for the materials is high because I only select the best wood, stain, and sealer. On top of this, everything is done by hand and many hours go into each piece. I do my best to keep prices reasonable so that people from all financial backgrounds can enjoy their favorite piece.
Discounts are available at multiple points through the year. Stay tuned for those. Additionally, discounts are available for first responders, military, corrections, and nurses.
