  • Membership/Accounts

  • Custom Orders

The Shop

I hope you take some time to browse at what is available. More items will be added in the future and I have some exciting plans in place so stay tuned. As a thank you, get $10 off your order starting today (4-2-26) and ending (4-9-26). Make sure to take advantage of this offer!

Newsletter Issues

For those asking about the newsletter, I am still working out some kinks. Bare with me while I work that out.

FAQ Launch

An FAQ will be added soon-hopefully within the next week or so

Membwerships/Accounts

I had a couple emails asking about memberships/accounts so they could track orders and save payment methods. I will be looking into this and will provide updates when I get some headway.

Custom Orders

Custom orders are currently not available- mainly due to space, money, and logistics. This is something I would like to start in the near future, but would like to get up and running first.

That is all for now! I hope you spend some time in the shop and stay tuned for any updates!

Welcome to the workshop

Welcome!

This entry is the first of the company! learn about the company, methods, and future plans in store.

Good Evening and Welcome!

This is the first entry in the “Against the Grain” blog. There is alot exciting news to come! I founded Twin Owls Woodcraft in 2026 with the purpose of sharing my love for woodworking. I use all traditional hand tools in every one of my pieces. No power tools, no machines, no mass production. Every piece is unique and special in its own way.

I am going to briefly touch on some important topics:

  1. The blog

  2. The company

  3. The products

The Blog

This blog will have entries added weekly. I will do my best to “bring you in the workshop” and give you insights to the joy (and frustration) of using hand tools to create my pieces. I will do my best to make it entertaining (I’ve never done a blog before.

The Company

As I stated before, I founded Twin Owls Woodcraft in 2026 to share my passion and love for woodworking. But why hand tools only? Well, if i’m being honest, I rent and the neighbors may not be thrilled with me running a table saw at 7am. In addition, hand tools are more cost effective and (a little) safer than its electric counterparts. After using them for a while I realized I almost prefer to use them over power tools. I decided to use this as my general practice and Twin Owls Woodcraft was born.

The Products

This is a topic that is hard to tackle, but I wanted to at least give a little insight for the near future. As I mentioned, I am renting so space is somewhat limited where I’m at. Because of this, I do not have the ability as it stands now to make large or heavy furniture. Hopefully down the road (when we move) I can begin to implement larger pieces and offer them to you. Custom orders also cannot be filled right now because I can’t offer large pieces (which is what a lot of people look for) and the honestly the company is new. I have a plan in place to add custom orders limited to a certain type/size in the future. When that time gets closer, I will be sure to let everyone know.

Focusing on the present, I will have various pieces available in the near future. I will be starting with birdhouses and valet trays. I plan on having different options depending on your individual style. More pieces are in the works and will be rolled out so make sure to check here, the website, and the social media sites for updates. Pricing will be very fair as I am not doing this as a sole reason to make a profit (my full time job is for that"). Of course, if you have any specific questions or ideas you would like to see, send me a message and i’ll be happy to connect with you.

I am excited for what the future holds and promise my blog entries won’t be nearly as long in the future. Thank you for hanging in there through this.
